Zorica Sirocic submitted her dissertation “Festivals and feminist politics in the post-Yugoslav territory” at the University of Graz, Department of Sociology” in autumn 2018. Her dissertation project is a study of contemporary feminist mobilizations in post-socialist Southeastern Europe from a perspective of political sociology. She is teaching at the same university courses on sociology of social movements (BA level) and gender inequality (MA level). She earned an MA degree in political science (Central European University, 2010) and a diploma in political science (University of Zagreb, 2009).
Her research areas include: political sociology (social movements), sociology of gender, politics in Southeastern Europe.
