Diane Stone is Professor at the Department of Politics and International Studies at Warwick University, UK, and holds a PhD and MA in Political Science and International Relations from the Australian National University. She is the co-editor of Global Governance: A Journal of Multilateralism and International Organization, Trustee and Member of Council of the Overseas Development Institute, Chair of the Researchers Alliance for Development and Member of the International Advisory Council, Policy Studies Organization in Washington, DC.
Diane Stone was instrumental in developing the CEU Master's Program in Public Policy, launched by CPS in 2004. She was Marie Curie Chair and Head of the Program in its first year. She retains close ties with CPS and the now independent Department of Public Policy. In 2007, she was hosted by CPS for a three-month GARNET mobility fellowship and she also taught a summer university course on Global Processes and Non Governmental Public Action.
