The Challenge of the EU Development Co-operation Policy for New Member States

An interim report has been published in connection with the project entitled 'Evaluation of Visegrad Countries’ Democratic Assistance Programs'.

The project is funded by the Local Government Initiative and International Visegrad Foundation and runs between June 2007 - September 2008. More information about the project can be found here (LINK: RESEARCH/GOOD GOV/EVALUATING).

The interim report was presented to the European Parliament development committee. This report was specially commissioned by the Parliament, and co-ordinated by the PASOS Secretariat, with the involvement of eight PASOS members. The report was taken into consideration by the EP and their draft paper drew on many of the paper’s recommendations.
