Call for application: 12 PhD and 2 postdoc position vacancies
EDUWORKS, the EU-Funded FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network is currently recruiting 12 PhD candidates and 2 PostDoc researchers.
EDUWORKS aims at training the next generation of scientists in a broad range of skills and competences required to pursue their career in academic and industrial settings. The research training program will equip the early stage and experienced researchers to become
- an expert in their discipline of research, while having knowledge of cutting-edge technologies in related disciplines;
- trained in the methodological underpinnings of these investigations;
- skilled in presenting their results in writing and orally, including communicating the results beyond an academic audience;
- experienced in designing and managing research projects, including cooperation with the private sector;
- aware of ethical issues related to their discipline of research.
EDUWORKS will offer a training program that promotes scientific excellence, aims at the objectives listed above, and exploits the interdisciplinary expertise and infrastructure in the network. The training program consists of three building blocks, namely
- local individual training;
- network-wide training in research and transferable skills;
- secondments at full and associate partners.

- 2 PhD positions in Human Resource Management-Organizational Behavior (University of Amsterdam)
- 1 PhD position in Learning Analytics (University of Amsterdam)
- 2 Postdoc positions in Sociology of Occupations (University of Amsterdam)
- 2 PhD positions in Lifelong Learning (Trinity College Dublin)
- 4 PhD positions in Labour Economics (Central European University/University of Salamanca)
- 3 PhD positions in Knowledge Management (Corvinno/Corvinus University of Budapest/ University of Siegen)
The researchers need to work in an interdisciplinary (HRM, Learning Analytics, Labour Economics, Lifelong Learning, Sociology of Occupations, and Knowledge Management) research environment aimed at generating expertise on the topic of micro, meso, and macro level matching processes between individual skills, educational outcomes and job requirements.
