International Master of Science in Social Policy Analysis (IMPALLA)
IMPALLA is a Master program that gives talented students the opportunity of deepening both their theoretical and empirical knowledge in Social Policy Analysis.
One of the unique characteristic of the program is the opportunity provided to our students to:
- expand their theoretical knowledge on comparative socio-economic policies and policy evaluation
- as well as their methodological and advanced research skills.
Being an IMPALLA student will allow you to attend the intensive lectures of well-known Professors in statistics and methodology from the University of Tilburg. The practical seminars will offer you the opportunity to acquire or develop your skills in working with SPSS, SAS, STATA, LatentGOLD and other programs, while accessing large international datasets. In addition, Professors from the University of Leuven will challenge the students to reflect on the current developments of transnational collaborations like that of European welfare states in the European Union.
Ideal candidates: students who have finished 4 years of University with a sufficient knowledge of statistics and research methods, who are able to follow courses, to express themselves and to write in English and who are interested in social policy and want to specialize in theoretically driven empirical research.
