XVII World Economy Meeting: 'Winners and losers within a World Economy'

The University of Oviedo is organising a Changing Employment session as part of the XVII World Economy Meeting that is hosted by the University of Oviedo and will take place in Gijon, Spain, 3-5 June 2015.

The thematic session 'Changing Employment', chaired by Prof. Holm-Detlev Kohler (University of Oviedo) and supported by the Changing Employment Marie Curie Network. This session is part of the XVII World Economy Meeting, Thematic stream No. 8. Labour relations, migrations and education.

Papers or posters are invited for presentation around the following topics:

  • Management and Employees
    (employment relations; HR strategies; trade union strategies)
  • Inclusion and Exclusion
    (inclusion/exclusion at work, e.g. consequences of migration or precariousness)
  • Employee Wellbeing and Work Life Quality
    (the impact of 'flexicurity' and 'precariousness' on the quality of working life)

Contributions are welcomed in particular (though not exclusively) from fellows of the Marie Curie Network 'Changing Employment' and from doctorate students in general.

Papers can be written in English or Spanish. If you would like to present in this session, please send an abstract via e-mail to Prof. Holm-Detlev Kohler hkohler@uniovi.es.

Deadline for abstracts (max. 450 words): 10 April 2015

Notification about acceptance: 17 April 2015
Deadline for full papers: 4 May 2015
Final acceptance: 10 May 2015
