Quality in Gender+ Equality Policies
This two-day conference presented the results of a comparative European research project, entitled Quality in Gender+ Equality Policies (QUING). The research initiative aimed to address issues of gender and citizenship in the European Union and to provide innovative knowledge for inclusive gender and equality policies in present (and future) EU member states. The aim of the conference was to present the first set of results produced in the framework of two activities of the research initiative: one analyzing major frames on gender equality in policy debates within Europe (LARG) and another investigating the policy and politics of intersectionality in Europe (STRIQ).
