The Center for Policy Studies of Central European University  would like to extend invitation to  interested parties to a roundtable discussion on

Prospects for Afghanistan: A view from Civil Society”.

 

The roundtable discussions will draw on the experience of prominent  Afghan Civil Society Leaders in terms of recent  Juridical and Public Health Care reforms. The  presentations will focus on (i) Legal Empowerment and Advocacy-  and (ii) challenges in development of Public Health Sector in Afghanistan.

Ms. Freshta Kharimi, Director of the Da Qanoon Ghushtonky, an Afghan NGO providing free legal aid for women  

Mr. Sadiq Mohibi, advisor to the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and the Disabled 

Mr. Mirwais Rahimzai, MD, MBA, Country Director, Center for Human Services/University Research Co. LLC  

Ms. Razia Arooj, National program officer in the education unit of UNESCO’s Afghanistan office
