CPS seminar: Solidarity practices and spatiality
On September 28, the CPS Seminar Series opened the fall with a presentation on preliminary findings from fieldwork conducted within the project “SOLIDUS”. Out of the five policy areas investigated within the scope of the project, the presentation focused on housing, health and migration, and explored variance of motivations for solidarity practices and civic engagement across case studies of A Varos Mindenkie (The City is for All), Menhely (Shelter Foundation), Ebredesek Alapitvany (Awakenings Foundation), Migszol Szeged and Migszol Pecs. The presentation was given by Research Fellows Peter Balogh and Sara Svensson, with additional input from Research Fellows Celine Cantate, Andrew Cartwright and Research Affiliate Agnes Kende.
