The World Bank and Governance

As a follow-up to the workshop "Research Bank on the World Bank" organized by the Center for Policy Studies in April 2005 a new edited volume has been published by Routledge under the title "The World Bank and Governance. A Decade of Reform and Reaction".

This timely book offers the first critical retrospective of World Bank policy reforms and initiatives during the past decade.

The collected authors seek to widen our understanding of the changing role and influence of the World Bank in the age of globalization. Students and scholars of International Relations, Development, Politics and Economics will find this volume to be of strong interest.
