Women, Integration and Prison Analysis of the Processes of Socio-Labor Integration of Women Prisoners in Europe (MIP)

The Center for Policy Studies of CEU participated in a comparative research project across six European countries - Spain, Germany, England and Wales, Italy, France and Hungary - investigating the effectiveness of reintegration measures and policies targeted at women prisoners. The MIP project has been carried out within the European Union's Fifth Framework Programme "Improving the base of socio-economic research", with the participation of academic research institutions and NGO-s from the six countries, under the coordination of SURT, a Spanish partner. The project was launched in November 2002 and was completed in the spring of 2005.
