EU Civil Society Platform against Trafficking in Human Beings

CPS Research Fellow Kiril Sharapov participated in the first meeting of the newly launched Civil Society Platform against Trafficking in Human Beings.

The meeting was held in Brussels on May 31, 2013. The European Commission launched the EU Civil Society Platform against THB in order to create a forum for civil society organizations to engage at the EU level, exchange experiences and enhance coordination and cooperation amongst key actors. Over 100 civil society organizations participated in this first meeting. The Platform brought together a wide range of organizations working in the field of THB on the local, national and European level.
