Molnar is elected delegate to Hungary's National Council for Sustainable Development
We are proud to share that our colleague Andras Molnar has been elected as one of the delegates in Hungary's National Council for Sustainable Development for the next four years. He will contribute to the section where civil society organizations engaged in social issues and health care have a voice.
Congratulations to Andras, who at the CEU Center for Policy Studies contributes to the "Transforming into Open, Innovative and Collaborative Governments" (TROPICO) research project.
The National Council for Sustainable Development has around 30 members representing a wide range of Hungarian society. It works as an independent advisory body of the Hungarian National Assembly, and a National forum for interest reconciliation related to Sustainability. NCSD, as an independent national institution is responsible for facilitating the definition of the principles, objectives and comprehensive tasks of sustainable development in Hungary, the consideration of the related international cooperation, promoting the regular revision and implementation of the sustainable development strategy, supporting the coordination of the relevant planning and consultation activities, raising awareness and social engagement and implementation of the international Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) adopted in 2015.
