Empowerment through Liquid Integration of Migrant Youth in Vulnerable Conditions

The "Empowerment through Liquid Integration of Migrant Youth in Vulnerable Conditions" (MIMY) research project was launched with the participation of the Center for Policy Studies. It is a 3-year project with the lead of the University of Luxembourg and will be a collaboration between 12 partners across 9 countries. The project aims to empower young migrants in vulnerable conditions and to support integration strategies within the EU.

Roma Civil Monitor project: Slovenia’s Roma are extremely excluded

The second Roma Civil Monitor (RCM) report on Slovenia has found that Roma unemployment is extremely high, between 90 and 98 percent. Roma are also severely excluded from accessing housing, a fact that generates their further marginalization in other areas. While Roma have the same right to access healthcare as others in Slovenia, they do not always use those rights, and their overall social exclusion hinders their access to care.

Roma civil society: Sweden has to invest in implementing its well-designed Roma strategy

The second Roma Civil Monitor (RCM) report for Sweden has found that despite well-meaning efforts to report on problems faced by the Roma minority and authorities willing to consult with Roma representatives on decision-making, the well-written National Roma Integration Strategy 2012-2032 (NRIS) lacks action plans, funding, and monitoring of its implementation. The goals of the NRIS cannot be achieved without compulsory, specific, well-funded policy provisions.
