New project: Gender Equality Academy

The Center for Policy Studies participates in the "Gender Equality Academy" Project, which aims to develop and implement a coherent and high-quality capacity-building program on gender equality (GE) in research and innovation (R&I) as well as in Higher Education (HE). GE Academy will develop and provide a series of comprehensive training formats and tailor-made training materials for trainers, practitioners and researchers, making these available to the widest possible audience in Europe and beyond.

The connotations of collaboration: European linguistic and scholarly perspectives on collaborative governance

A new working paper has been pubished on collaborative governance by CPS research fellow Sara Svensson in the Tropico project.

Solidarity initiatives in Denmark, Hungary and Scotland compared

The research project SOLIDUS on solidarity in Europe strengthened CPS research network in the field of solidarity and social economy studies. A new article in ‘VOLUNTAS: International Journal of Voluntary and Nonprofit Organizations’ is the result of cooperation between three partner institutions in the research project. The article argues that closer attention to how solidarity is understood and expressed in different European contexts can shed light on the conditions for establishing a social and solidarity economy.

Post-crisis politics, social resistance, and equality policy paths: New social movements and forms of citizens’ cooperation for solidarity

A working paper by CPS research affiliate Gergo Pulay has been published in frame of the TransCrisis (Enhancing the EU's Transboundary Crisis Management Capacities: Strategies for Multi-Level Leadership) project.
